This little guy came into the world with a bang on the 4th of July! What a firecracker!
I adored doing this in home session. I don't do a lot of newborn photography but when I do, I really enjoy those tiny little toes, sweet little grins and fuzzy hair. Mom and Dad laughed the whole session which made it fun and relaxed. Congrats to the new family of three!
The weather was a "cool" 96 degrees in the shade but the kids were all smiles. Once we got the serious photos over, it was on to splashing in the water! Win!
This is my little guy's Kindergarten teacher and her family. I can't say enough about what a wonderful teacher she is and how she helped him grow this year. I was really excited to meet her family and her kids are so lucky to have her as a mom!
Here's my friend of 30 years and her beautiful, sweet, giggly boy. I was so excited to capture these five month portraits after we did his newborn photos back in November. EJ is the best little boy. He didn't care that we went through outfit changes, location changes, and made him roll over many, many times. Watching your friends and their families grow is a blessing.
The O Family visited on a nice "spring" day... I say "spring" because I'm not sure when New England is going to let us have some typical weather! We did a few studio shots and some outdoor family ones. The best part of being a Rhode Island family photographer is utilizing small spots of land to create fun family portraits. With the right angle, I can usually work with almost any backdrop. Thank you, O Family! Hope to see you soon for some summer portraits!
Wow! The difference in weather we saw within the hour we took these photos was crazy. Rain, clouds, sunny, dark...it was a little nerve wracking for me because we were using a private home for the shoot and I wanted to make sure we got done what we needed too. In the end, it worked out awesome because of the variety of looks the weather gave us!
Thank you so much to the 74 families I worked with in 2017! It has been another successful year at SPM Photo and I look forward to seeing your families grow in 2018!
My friend Lisa gave her brother and his family a gift card for a portrait this fall. The weather was perfect for their session and their yard gave us plenty of room to bring out the classic cars!
