Ann, Jon and Julia- Outdoor Newborn Lifestyle Photography
/I love this family and their willingness and desire to do an outdoor newborn session in November! They just radiated joy!
Lisa's Maternity Portraits- RI Maternity Photos, RI Maternity Portrait
/Lisa is one of a kind. I've described her as the type of person who would whittle you a boat out of sticks if she knew that's what you really wanted. She's thoughtful and generous and the type of teacher you want all children to have. She is due in September with a little girl and wanted to do some maternity portraits with her husband and son on the beach since she was married on the beach. I was happy to oblige and sunset made for a great time of day. I asked if she was open to going in the water and she was so I was thrilled to jump right in with her. Her husband was a sport too- I made him come in and hold my flash :) Congratulations, B family! I can't wait to meet her!
Dawn and Her Girls- Cranston, RI Portrait Photography, RI Photographer
/Dawn contacted me to shoot a special session- both her girls would be home for one weekend and then they were going their separate ways. One daughter was going to Peru and the other to her job in another state. Dawn said she wanted a photograph to remember this time as her daughter's embark on their new lives. I loved the warmth of these three women.
Cooper- Cranston, RI Portrait Photography, Cranston, RI Children's Photographer
/Alicia is the yin to my artistic yang! She did a beautiful mural on my studio wall (which I will photograph someday soon!) We talk about art all the time, so I love being able to work with her son (who coincidentally takes art class with my son). There were a lot of outtakes from this session-- it quickly went from photos to dance party USA which gives me some hope that my taste in music isn't half bad.
Parker is 1- Cranston, RI Photography, Rhode Island Photographer, Rhode Island Cake Smash Photography
/I apologize in advance for the cuteness overload. Parker is such an awesome kiddo…and you have to know I credit his mom with my first photography lesson. We lived together after college and she was always telling everyone to pose "chin down" when I took their photos. Hahaha! Fast forward a few *maybe more than a few* years...I photographed Parker's newborn session. When mom called to tell me he was turning one…I knew exactly what theme to do (little monsters-- since that is the theme of his room). Heather wasted no time in getting in touch with Kate Caito to get some cake ideas down for a monster smash! Kate literally made the cake have fur. Parker did the best job smashing the cake (I have to say, many times babies are not at all interested in smashing a cake, much to their parent's dismay!) I didn't have to worry with this guy. I was finding little bits of green frosting around the studio for days and each time I did, I smiled!
